This will be an amazing and unique opportunity to work with local drag artists and learn the skills to build your own drag acts! Saturday will focus on drag techniques, history and act creation. The day will be divided into two parts-- people of any gender or sexuality are welcome to attend either or both! The first half will be on Drag Queening, with mentor Cameron Mackenzie (Isolde N. Barron) starting at 5:00 PM. The second half on Drag Kinging will begin at 7:00, with mentor Paige Frewer (Ponyboy). Snacks will be provided! Sunday will focus on creating your own drag act. Starting at 12 PM, participants will work one-on-one or in small groups with the mentors to create an original gender performance piece.
