Pacific Canadian Assiciation of Nudists

Report this news item to moderator

The Pacific-Canadian Association of Nudists was formed in 1988 to provide an opportunity for gay and bisexual men to socialize naked together. It has grown from the original handful of brave and dedicated nudists to our present number of around 500 active & non active members.

2010 marks our 22nd year of naked fun!

Three of the founding members are still in our ranks. We have all ages ranging from early twenties to some over seventy. The average age would probably fall in the mid-forties range. There are all kinds of body types represented within the club: from the "I've never seen the inside of a gym" to the "drop dead gorgeous".

But we strive to minimize the usual gay emphasis on looks and age. We believe in an attitude-free atmosphere of convivial, supportive, socializing. Love of nudity is the common bond that makes us all equal.

We traditionally had monthly house parties and, since 1997, monthly naked dance parties at a local bar. Other events have included trips to a gay B&B, 2 gay campsites, bowling, Wreck Beach (of course!), and once we attended a play... naked! We are always willing to consider new things that we can do while naked.

For many men, being naked at a party with other men, for the first time, is an intimidating experience. A common concern is 'what if I get a hard-on?'. Well, none of us will object in the slightest. We all realize that such things are often involuntary. For the brave ones, just be proud of it and don't let it worry you. For the less bold, think of something that really turns you off. Or, if you are really concerned, just bring a towel and cover yourself until it goes away. It won't be a problem after the first time or two.

We are affiliated with the Gay Naturists International (GNI) which has approximately 55 other affiliated clubs like ours. In addition, there are approximately 40 non-affiliated clubs. Most of these clubs are in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Links to these clubs can be found in our links section.
