It stands to reason that a lot of people could do with a bit of a food makeover. Note to men who think that everything can be made in a microwave: thawing lasagna is not cooking.
If you’re looking to sharpen your culinary skills, you can queer up your bookshelf with the Brooklyn Pride Organization’s Family Table cookbook. Twenty-one chefs from Brooklyn’s gay-owned and gay-friendly eateries contributed recipes, proving that Brooklyn may be a great gay gastro destination.
It’s one of the few gay books that remind us that three pigs in a blanket is something to eat, not watch.
