saw it
I was in Toronto for the festival and was lucky enough to see a screening of the film. The guy that plays Pedro, Alex Loynaz, does an amazing job. He is genuine, charismatic, and balances the role with great humility. I couldn't believe it when I heard that it was his first feature film! The girl that plays his sister I recognized from other projects and did an excellent job as well. It wasn't overly sentimental in a cheesy way, but it tugged on the heartstrings during significant moments. I would recommend this film to anyone who has an opportunity to see it. It's a well done movie of a story that needed to be told.
