and here are politiQ, last July, at their demo (that I covered for Xtra, Quebec trans folk demand easier process for legally changing name):

Are LGBTQ youth needing services or do they need their voices to be heard? Or a bit of both?

Montreal Youth Coalition against Homophobia invites you to a panel with : (whispered translation on site)

  • the organizers of Got Your Back (A forum on building radical support into our movements)
  • representatives from Forum jeunesse de l'Île de Montréal
  • the coordinator of Projet 10 and its fabulous project Outspoken
  • the coordinator of ATOMc (a project based on the diffusion of information about the importance of HIV and STI testing)

The panel will occur during the MYCAH AGM, where we will share news on the saferspace in the village for LGBTQ youth project and show a first draft of Plan Q zine, which will be used to tour the cegeps with PolitiQ, l'ASSÉ, la Centrale Powerhouse and MYCAH!

There will be plenty of occasions to get involved with us or with our members, as many positions are open on our board.
